2025/26 SWPL 1 and SWPL 2 Play-Off Final Details

The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) can confirm the match details for the upcoming SWPL 1 and SWPL 2 Play-Off Finals. The SWPL 2 Play-Off Final will take place on Thursday 28th May, with a kick-off time of 19:30, while the SWPL 1 Play-Off Final will take place on Friday 29th May, with a kick-off time of 19:35. Both matches will take place at the Albert Bartlett Stadium, Airdrie.
Tickets for the SWPL 2 Play-Off Final will go on sale at 10:00 tomorrow (Tuesday 19th May), with tickets for the SWPL 1 Play-Off Final going on sale on Monday 25th May. Tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £2 for concessions and can be purchased via the Airdrieonians ticketing website.
Boroughmuir Thistle and Queen’s Park will contest the SWPL 1 Play-Off Quarter-Final on Wednesday 20th May at Meadowbank Stadium, with a kick-off time of 19:15. The winner of this tie will then face Kilmarnock on Sunday 24th May in the SWPL 1 Play-Off Semi-Final, with match details to be confirmed.
The SWPL 1 Play-Off Final, which will be broadcast live on BBC ALBA, will see ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 9th placed side, Aberdeen play the winners of the Play-Off Semi-Final.
The SWPL 2 Play-Off Final will be contested by the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 9th placed side, East Fife, and the runners-up of the Scottish Women’s Championship, Falkirk. Falkirk confirmed their second-place finish with a 6-1 win over Ayr United on the penultimate weekend of the Championship season, with Renfrew already sealing the Scottish Women’s Championship title and gaining promotion to the SWPL 2 for the first time in their history, earlier in May.
