Adamolekun and Cunningham win 2025/26 Goal of the Season awards

Sade Adamolekun and Murron Cunningham have won the 2025/26 Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) Goal of the Season awards, supported by Park’s Motor Group. The goals were selected by a SWPL panel of judges involved in the women’s game.

Adamolekun’s early season finish away to Rangers at Ibrox beat seven other goals to the SWPL award and was the first goal as Hearts gained an important point back in August.

Adamolekun picked up the ball just inside her own half, driving the Jambos forward before offloading to Johns. Adamolekun made a driving run into the left-side of the box before receiving the ball back and expertly finishing into the top right-hand corner.

Murron Cunningham wins the SWPL 2 Goal of the Season award, ahead of seven other nominations, for her stunning long-range effort for Queen’s Park against Dundee United back in August.

Cunningham brought the ball down just inside the half, ran onto the ball and unleashed a thunderous strike into the top-left corner of the net.
