Amy Hogg joins as SWPL Content and Communications Officer

The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) is excited to announce the appointment of Amy Hogg as Content and Communications Officer. This role is key to the SWPL’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the communications of the league as part of its broader strategy to promote and enhance the visibility of women’s football in Scotland.
This role will oversee the development and implementation of the league’s content and communication strategy, focusing on enhancing fan engagement, promoting the success of players and teams, and advancing the league’s brand through innovative content. Additionally, this role will be responsible for strengthening media relationships and ensuring effective communication across all channels including social media platforms, website content and press relations.
Amy joins the SWPL having most recently worked as Social Media Executive at Scottish Rugby where she worked for three years and led on key projects for the women’s national team and rugby development.

“Amy joins at an exciting time for the League and her experience and approach will be invaluable in helping us connect with our passionate fan base by focusing on celebrating the incredible ‘on the pitch’ achievements of the SWPL players and teams as well as highlighting the power of women’s football, beyond the 90 minutes”.
