Chelsea Cornet wins November SWPL Goal of the Month, supported by Park’s Motor Group

Chelsea Cornet was voted by the public as November’s SWPL Goal of the Month winner, supported by Park’s Motor Group, for her excellent volleyed goal against Celtic. The midfielder intercepted an aerial pass from Celtic goalkeeper Kelsey Daugherty before looping the ball over Bruna Lourenco’s head and smashing a half volley into the net from the angle in what proved to be the winning moment in the match that finished 3-2 to Rangers. She defeated Poppy Lawson (Hibernian), Megan Whiteford (Rossvale), and Louise Brown (Montrose) in the November 2024 edition as voted by the public.
