Jack McHugh joins as SWPL Operations and Partnerships Officer

The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) has appointed Jack McHugh as Operations and Partnerships Officer.

 

This appointment will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality operations, as well as supporting with the management and activation of the SWPL’s existing and future commercial and broadcast partnerships.

 

Jack joins the SWPL having most recently been Partner Marketing Executive at Rangers FC and prior to that having worked for Sportfive as Partnership Operations Assistant, following graduating with a BA in Marketing and Spanish from the University of Strathclyde. His operational expertise combined with relationship management skills will support the SWPL in ensuring competitions continue to run efficiently and that partners’ rights are fulfilled.

 

Fiona McIntyre, SWPL Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to have Jack join us. He was the standout candidate through the recruitment process, and we’re excited for someone with Jack’s knowledge and experience to join the SWPL team.

“The appointment of the Operations and Partnerships Officer emphasises the continued progress of the elite women’s game in Scotland. The SWPL is in the strongest position possible to deliver success for our Clubs and partners and Jack will play an important role in supporting the delivery of operations and the activation of commercial and broadcast partnerships.
