Jaya Gill wins March SWPL Goal of the Month, supported by Park’s Motor Group

Jaya Gill has been voted by the public as March’s SWPL Goal of the Month winner, supported by Park’s Motor Group, for her strike in Livingston’s 6-1 victory over Stirling University at the Home of the Set Fare Arena.

Livingston worked the ball from right to left, finding the feet of Gill. Jaya took a touch, setting herself up and unleashed a shot from 20 yards out which found the top-right corner of the net.

The goal from Jaya Gill received 40% of the public vote, up against strong competition from Lisa Forrest (Glasgow City), Olivia King (Partick Thistle) and Ria McCafferty (Boroughmuir Thistle).
