Mia McAulay has been voted by the public as November’s SWPL Goal of the Month winner, supported by Park’s Motor Group, for her curling top corner strike in Rangers’ 3-2 derby day victory over Celtic under the Ibrox lights.

McAulay was sent running by a pinpoint Shin-Ji Kim through pass before cutting inside and whipping the ball into the far corner in trademark fashion. This was Rangers’ third and final goal in the match which proved to be a pivotal winner over their city rivals and ensured the Gers remain in the hunt for the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League title.

The Rangers winger’s strike earned over 60% of total votes, up against stiff opposition from Lucie Burns (Kilmarnock), Ashley Robertson (Montrose), and Natalia Wróbel (Glasgow City).
