Sienna McGoldrick wins February SWPL Goal of the Month, supported by Park’s Motor Group

Sienna McGoldrick has been voted by the public as February’s SWPL Goal of the Month winner, supported by Park’s Motor Group, for her match winning strike in Partick Thistle’s 3-2 victory over Hamilton Academical at Petershill Park.

Sienna picked up the ball on the edge of the box before beating a couple defenders and breaking into the area, from there, the Celtic loanee was able to finish calmly into the bottom left corner. The late goal proved pivotal as it secured Partick Thistle’s top-six status in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League.

The goal from Sienna McGoldrick received over 37% of the public vote, up against strikes from Maria McAneny (Celtic), Kathleen McGovern (Hibernian) and Teri Skivington (East Fife).
