Skye Stout wins August SWPL Goal of the Month, supported by Park’s Motor Group

Skye Stout has been voted by the public as August’s SWPL Goal of the Month winner, supported by Park’s Motor Group, for her stunning free-kick in Kilmarnock’s convincing opening day victory at home to St Johnstone.

On her debut for the club after recently signing her first professional contract, Stout confidently stood over the free-kick and struck the ball expertly over the wall and into the top corner. The dip and the swerve on the ball gave the wall and the goalkeeper no chance. This was the fourth goal of the game and the first of a debut brace for Skye as she continues to help Kilmarnock set the pace at the top of SWPL 2.

Her goal stood out with over 80% of the vote even in the face of some strong competition from Sade Adamolekun (Heart of Midlothian), Murron Cunningham (Queen’s Park), and Katie Wilkinson (Rangers) in the August 2025 edition as voted by the public.
