Sky Sports have selected the second Old Firm clash of the campaign as Rangers host Celtic under the Friday night lights at Ibrox on the 14th of November. The two sides met earlier this season, also broadcast live on Sky Sports, with Leanne Crichton’s team earning the three points on that occasion with a 2-0 win over their rivals.
BBC ALBA have selected a further five matches up to the end of 2025, beginning with Hearts v Rangers on 2nd November. There was nothing to separate the teams when they met on matchday two of the campaign, with the fixture ending 2-2 at Ibrox and the return fixture promises to be another tight contest.
The BBC ALBA cameras will then head to Easter Road two weeks later as current champions Hibernian host Edinburgh rivals Hearts. Eva Olid’s side came out on top at Tynecastle in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, so the Hibees will be looking to claim back the bragging rights in the capital.
BBC ALBA will then showcase 1st v 2nd from last season as Hibernian travel to Petershill Park to face Glasgow City in what promises to be another closely fought encounter. In December, BBC ALBA have also selected Rangers v Partick Thistle on Sunday 14th December, before heading back to the capital to broadcast Hearts v Glasgow City on Sunday 21st of December for their final selection of the year.
BBC Sport Scotland will broadcast Motherwell v Rangers at The Ross Commercial Finance K Park Stadium on Sunday 23rd November as Paul Brownlie’s side seek to replicate their top six finish from last season. Meanwhile, Rangers will be hoping to continue their strong start to the new campaign and maintain their challenge for top spot.
The final game to be showcased by BBC Sport Scotland this year will be Celtic v Aberdeen at New Douglas Park on Sunday 14th December. The last time these two sides met they played out a six-goal thriller, with the Glasgow side eventually coming out 4-2 winners in the latter stages of the game.
Fiona McIntyre, SWPL Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted to confirm the broadcast of these further eight SPWPL matches to round-off 2025 in exciting fashion. These matches all promise great excitement and could have a significant impact on the outlook at both ends of the table. Every point will no doubt be vital now as each club continues to battle for the glory of the league summit, a place in the top six, and to avoid relegation.
“The coverage that each of our broadcast partners provides is extremely important to support the growth of women’s football in Scotland and we are delighted to see viewing figures continue to rise as more and more people tune in each season to Sky Sports, BBC ALBA and BBC Sport Scotland to absorb the best of the action in the SPWPL.
