At a disciplinary hearing yesterday (Monday 14 September 2026), a committee of the Board of the SWPL sanctioned Queen’s Park WFC for an admitted breach of SWPL Rule G17.

Queen’s Park WFC admitted breaching SWPL Rules by amending their submitted teamline to list a player in their starting 11 who, was not on their originally submitted teamline, in breach of SWPL Rule G17, for the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 fixture against Gartcairn on Sunday 6 September. The match ended 2-0 to Queen’s Park.

The Tribunal imposed the following sanctions:

  • The Club was reprimanded and warned as to future conduct; and
  • Queen’s Park’s SPWPL 2 match v Gartcairn will be recorded as a 3-0 victory for Gartcairn and the League table updated accordingly.

The SWPL acknowledges Queen’s Park’s right to appeal and will make no further comment.
