SWPL Statement | Celtic v Hibernian – Sunday 11th February

Following a request from Celtic FC, supported by Hibernian FC, the Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) can confirm that the scheduled Celtic v Hibernian ScottishPower Women’s Premier League match on Sunday 11th February will now be reversed and played at Meadowbank Stadium. This is due to Airdrie playing Heart of Midlothian at the Excelsior Stadium in the men’s Scottish Cup on the same day.

Following confirmation that both sides will compete in the top-six of the SWPL post-split, the final two matches between the sides will be hosted by Celtic.

The match will still be broadcast live by BBC ALBA.
