The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) can confirm changes to upcoming ScottishPower Women’s Premier League matches involving Glasgow City and Partick Thistle. This is due to delays in the improvement works to the floodlights at Petershill Park.
Partick Thistle’s home match against Hearts on Sunday 6th October, will now be played at Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex. The match will still kick off at 16:10 and be broadcast live on BBC ALBA as scheduled.
The ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 match between Rossvale and Hamilton Academical will remain at Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex and will now kick off at 12:00.
Glasgow City’s home game against Rangers on Saturday 12th October, will be reversed and played at Ibrox Stadium. The match will still kick off at 15:00 and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports as scheduled. This means the subsequent fixture between Rangers and Glasgow City on Sunday 15th December, will now become Glasgow City vs Rangers at Petershill Park.
Partick Thistle’s match at home to Queen’s Park on Sunday 20th October will remain at Petershill Park and kick-off at 13:00 as scheduled.
