Goalkeeper – Noa Schumacher (Hibernian)
Noa Schumacher earns her appearance in the SWPL Team of the Week with a solid goalkeeping display for Hibernian as they narrowly defeated their title rivals Glasgow City. Noa made 4 crucial saves and kept a clean sheet in the dramatic top of the table clash. Her distribution was also a standout in the game, accurately completing 100% of her short passes.

Defender – Freya MacDonald (Hamilton)
The centre back produced a strong performance for Accies, helping them extend their lead at the top of SWPL 2. She has played a key role in Hamilton conceding the least goals across the league this season, which was shown again with a clean sheet on Sunday. Along with the clean sheet, Freya produced a great cross field assist for Hamilton’s second goal, helping them push onto a comfortable victory.
Defender – Jessica Broadrick (Aberdeen)
In front of the Pittodrie crowd and under the lights, Jessica Broadrick’s solid defensive display helped Aberdeen defeat rivals Dundee United. Jessica helped Aberdeen keep their fifth clean sheet of the season, along with producing a brilliant right footed cross that put the home side 1-0 up. Her assist was just one of many impressively accurate long passes in the game.
Defender – Emma Brownlie (Hearts)
The Hearts captain helped keep their title hopes alive, leading her team to a dominant victory over Celtic. Just before the ten-minute mark the defender scored the first goal of the match. Coming from a well worked free kick, Emma headed in at the back post which kickstarted the Hearts ascendancy. Throughout the game Emma had a 93% successful pass accuracy and won an impressive five key aerial duels.

Midfielder – Camille Lafaix (Rangers)
The Rangers midfielder was at the heart of the Rangers dominance, helping them rise to second in the table. Camille made an impressive 8/8 recoveries in the Motherwell half throughout the 90 minutes, along with two calmly finished goals, bringing her up to eight so far for her debut season.
Midfielder – Hannah Jordan (Spartans)
Another well-deserved spot in the Team of the week for Hannah Jordan, who’s two goals helped Spartans to a crucial victory at Ochilview Park. Both of her left footed goals were taken with composure and finesse, helping her team to a tidy win. On a personal note, these goals take her up to fourteen goal contributions this season. Hannah’s talented all-round performance has boosted Spartans’ hopes of maintaining their SWPL 1 status for next season.
Midfielder – Francesca Ogilvie (Aberdeen)
Francessca Oglivie’s performance was crucial in leading Aberdeen to a big bottom six win, bringing them equal on points with seventh-placed Partick Thistle. The midfielder was involved in both goals; firstly, scoring a great header to put Aberdeen 1-0 up, before turning provider with a pinpoint assist to round off a brilliant one-touch passing move to ultimately seal the victory for the Dons.
Midfielder & Star Player – Sophie Townsley (Hamilton)
The Rangers loanee continues her great start to 2025, adding another four goals to her already remarkable scoring tally. Sophia’s clinical finishing meant all her four shots on target resulted in goals. Along with her solid defensive contributions even from the left wing, her impressive star player worthy performance helped Accies to a dominant win, proving why they continue to set the pace at the summit of the SWPL 2 table.

Forward – Georgia Timms (Hearts)
Georgia Timms’ brace helped the Jambos secure a crucial three points in their first top six fixture. Her superb right foot volley was a standout within her performance, along with her five successful dribbles being crucial in making space for the Edinburgh side and driving Celtic back. Georgia’s performance has helped extend Hearts’ impressive form, during which they have lost only one of their last ten games.
Forward – Katie Wilkinson (Rangers)
Katie Wilkinson has been a prominent figure within the SWPL Team of the week this season, deservedly adding another appearance this week with her fantastic hat-trick performance. Katie played 60 minutes in a dominant Rangers win where she scored her seventh hat trick of the season. She now extends her lead at the top of the goal scoring charts, where she now has a staggering 32 goals.
Forward – Cara Gray (Kilmarnock)
The Kilmarnock forward has been crucial in keeping Killie’s SWPL 2 title hopes alive. She added another two goals in their game at home to a struggling Rossvale side, taking her goal tally to 15 for the season. This crucial win keeps the Ayrshire side within 6 points of league-leading Hamilton.
