Midfielder – Sophie Timlin (Gartcairn)

Gartcairn bounced back in SWPL 2 after last week’s defeat, with a closely contested win over Livingston. Sophie netted both goals for her side, being the key difference maker throughout the game. Her first goal was a well-placed header following a free-kick, and she then topped that effort with a fantastic backheel turn and finish into the top left corner, to seal the win for the Airdrie side.

Midfielder – Lyla Marnie (Dundee United)

The Dundee United midfielder made her first start of the season against East Fife with a standout performance. The 15-year-old scored her first senior goal with a magnificent right footed strike from 25 yards out to open the scoring at Foundation Park, ultimately helping her team seal the win against a battling University of Stirling side.

Midfielder – Ami Robertson (Boroughmuir Thistle)

Boroughmuir Thistle continued their good form with a resounding 5-0 win over St Johnstone at Meadowbank Stadium. Ami Robertson helped them on their way with a standout performance in the middle of the park. The midfielder notched a goal and an assist in a win that moves her side up to third in the table.

Midfielder – Nicole Kozlova (Glasgow City)

Nicole Kozlova doubled her goal tally for the season on Sunday as she netted a brace in Glasgow City’s convincing victory at Petershill Park, against Hearts.
