Goalkeeper & Star Player – Jenna Fife (Rangers)
In what was one of the most dramatic matches in Sky Sports Cup history, and Fife was right at the heart of it. The goalkeeper will not be delighted at having conceded three goals against Celtic, but she made the same number of penalty saves to help her side reach their fourth consecutive final. The ‘keeper saved a penalty in extra-time to keep the match level at 3-3 before saving two in the shoot-out to help her side progress. Rangers will now face Glasgow City in the final on the 29th March at Fir Park, looking to win the Sky Sports Cup for the fourth time in a row.

Defender – Nicola Wallace (East Fife)
East Fife boosted their survival chances in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 with a convincing 4-0 win over relegation rivals Stirling University. While they scored goals at one end with the help of Wallace, she was also keeping them out at the other. The defender provided two assists while also boasting a 77% passing accuracy, making four interceptions, and 12 recoveries. East Fife are now just three points behind St Johnstone in eighth and four points clear of automatic relegation.
Defender – Hannah Cunningham (Spartans)
Spartans returned to winning ways in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 with a 2-0 victory at home to Gartcairn. Voted by the club as their player of the match on Sunday, it’s easy to understand why. Their defender helped them keep a clean sheet, had a 79% passing accuracy, won 74% of her duels, as well as 17 recoveries. The Edinburgh side jump up to third, a point ahead of Boroughmuir Thistle who play their game in hand this evening.
Defender – Rachael O’Neill (Queen’s Park)
Queen’s Park continue their winning run in 2026 with an impressive 1-0 win over promotion rivals Boroughmuir Thistle. The Spiders were certainly tested on Sunday, but O’Neill and her fellow defenders kept Thistle goalless as they remain second in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2. O’Neill earns her place with some impressive defensive stats including winning 76% of her duels, and making 10 interceptions, and 16 recoveries. Queen’s Park are away to Stirling University next and then have a massive game against top of the table Kilmarnock.

Midfielder – Laura Berry (Rangers)
While Fife’s heroics will be remembered fondly by Rangers fans, they’ll also not forget Berry’s last-minute equaliser to take the game to extra-time. She has a habit of being in the right place at the right time, and Sunday was no exception at Broadwood. Berry got the goal to make 3-2 before half-time and then made it 3-3 at the death, tucking the ball home after came back off the crossbar. She also scored during the penalty shoot-out, capping off a fantastic afternoon for the youngster.
Midfielder – Josi Giard (Hamilton Accies)
Hamilton Accies picked up their second point of the season in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League, earning a 2-2 draw against Aberdeen. Giard was voted by the club as their player of the match, and the experienced German showed her value on Sunday. Not only did she test the Dons early with a cross-come-shot, she got the opener with a fine finish and was also fouled for Accies’ penalty to make it 2-1. The New Douglas Park side remain nine points adrift in the league but will hope to use this as a boost ahead of the split.
Midfielder – Louise Cowan (Kilmarnock)
Kilmarnock’s march towards the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 title continued on Sunday with an impressive 5-0 win over Dundee United. Away from home, Killie had five different goalscorers, and even managed without one of their key players in Lucie Burns who went off with an injury. Cowan is included for her performance, including a perfectly timed run to head home their fourth goal of the match. Kilmarnock remain 13 points clear in the league with two more games to play before the split.
Midfielder – Nicole Kozlova (Glasgow City)
Glasgow City will face Rangers in the Sky Sports Cup next month after their 2-1 win over Hibernian. The Ukrainian was all over the pitch on Sunday and was voted as the player of the match, scoring the opening goal as well as having a further three shots. Her goal was well taken, displaying awareness, pace, and power to finish from the ball forward by goalkeeper Erin Clachers. Kozlova will now look to help her side break Rangers’ hold on the competition when the sides meet on the 29th March at Fir Park.

Forward – Justine Strain (Livingston)
Livingston look almost certain to have avoided any talk of relegation after their breathless 7-3 win away to St Johnstone. Livi are 10 points clear of the relegation play-off spot and seven clear of Sunday’s opponents. Unsurprisingly, Justine Strain makes the team after her hat-trick, her second of the season, and taking her to an impressive tally of 13 goals from 19 games. Livingston could still reach the top-six before the split but will need to win their next two games and hope Gartcairn lose to Kilmarnock.
Forward – Teri Skivington (East Fife)
If there was ever a game to get a hat-trick, against your relegation rivals is probably the best match to choose. That was case for Skivington on Sunday as she put the sword to Stirling University, as well as boasting 67% passing accuracy, making four crosses, and winning the majority of her aerial duels. The result moves East Fife four points clear of bottom as they will now set their sights on guaranteeing their survival for 2026/27.
Forward – Darcie Miller (Aberdeen)
Aberdeen arguably missed a chance to climb up to seventh in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League, drawing 2-2 with Hamilton Accies. While Accies are a good side, The Dons were favourites on Sunday with their opponents having only one point from their previous 15 games. If not for Miller though, it could have been worse. The striker got both goals, had a further shot, and boasted an 86% passing accuracy. The result keeps Aberdeen in the relegation play-off spot, but they are now level on points with Motherwell and Partick Thistle.
