The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) is delighted to announce that the season 2026/27 Sky Sports Cup league stage fixtures will be launched at 3pm on Tuesday, 9th June.
The competition’s new format was unveiled last summer, and a reminder of the changes can be seen here.
The new 14-team league phase, which now takes the place of the previous 1st round, will begin on Sunday, 26 July and the 14 qualifying clubs competing in this league stage are listed below:
| Pot 1 | Pot 2 |
| Motherwell | Queen’s Park |
| Montrose | Dundee United |
| Aberdeen | Gartcairn |
| Hamilton Academical | Livingston |
| Spartans | St Johnstone |
| Kilmarnock | Renfrew |
| Boroughmuir Thistle | Falkirk |
Each of the 14 clubs are allocated at random to play two teams from each of the two pots, playing a total of four matches at this stage of the competition. The clubs will be ranked in one 14-team table based on accumulated points from these fixtures.
