SWPL Round 6 Broadcast Matches Confirmation

The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) can confirm amendments to the broadcast selections for Round 6 of the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League. The games being broadcast are as follows:

BBC Sport Scotland will now showcase the first Hibernian against Heart of Midlothian match of the season on Friday 6th September (19:35 KO), live online and iPlayer. The two sides will meet at Easter Road where Hibs prevailed 2-1 here last season. Grant Scott’s side have had a fine start to the season, winning all four of their opening matches and currently second in the league. Hearts are two places behind their rivals but just three points adrift.
BBC ALBA will then broadcast Montrose against Spartans on Sunday 8th September (16:10 KO). The two sides are currently without a point this season as they both look to avoid the relegation zone. Montrose are behind Spartans on goal difference and a win for either side could be potentially massive even at this early stage of the season.
