The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) can confirm match details for the final matchdays of the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League (SPWPL) and ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 (SPWPL 2).
In SPWPL 2, all top six matches will kick-off at 16:00 on Sunday, 17 May. It remains all to play for at the top of the SPWPL 2 table as it stands, with both League Champions, and the order of the play-off positions still to be determined.
In the SPWPL 2 bottom four, the University of Stirling take on Livingston at 14:00 before St Johnstone welcome East Fife to Perth at 16:00, both on Sunday 17 May. The latter could be a pivotal match in deciding which of these two teams will avoid the relegation play-off match.
In the SPWPL bottom four, Hamilton Academical take on Montrose at 14:30 before Motherwell face Aberdeen at 16:00 on Sunday, 17 May. The Accies are already relegated and will compete in the SPWPL 2 next season, whilst Aberdeen will be looking to retain their SPWPL status next season via the play-off final later this month.
Finally, the SPWPL top six matches will kick-off at 13:10 on Sunday, 24 May. These matches could be vital in deciding the League Champions and confirming who will clinch the second UEFA Women’s Champions League place, as the league once again comes to a thrilling conclusion.
