SWPL announces appointments to their Board of Directors

The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) is pleased to announce the appointments to the Board of Donald Gillies, Rangers FC Women’s and Girls Managing Director, and Phyllis McLeish, Kilmarnock FC Managing Director. They will represent the SWPL and SWPL 2 clubs respectively following their appointments at the SWPL General Meeting this week.

Fiona McIntyre, SWPL Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Donald and Phyllis to the SWPL Board and look forward to working with them. They both bring vast amounts of experience from within the Scottish game and abroad which will undoubtedly be of great value to women’s football in Scotland and will help us to build upon a transformational 18 months for the SWPL.

“Clubs have a vital role in the SWPL governance structure and these appointments reinforce that, ensuring they hold the representative majority on our Board.”
