Eilidh Adams and Robyn McCafferty have picked up the April 2026 Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) Player of the Month awards, supported by Park’s Motor Group.

In the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League (SPWPL), Eilidh Adams has been the focal point of Hibernian’s attack throughout April, providing two crucial winners against Glasgow City and Celtic.

Joelle Murray’s side kicked off April in front of the BBC ALBA cameras with an impressive 1-0 win over Glasgow City at Petershill Park. Adams’ stunning strike from distance proved to be the difference maker to seal the three points for the Hibees.

Adams would prove to be pivotal once again as Hibernian welcomed Celtic to Meadowbank Stadium. There was nothing to separate the two sides before Rosie Livingstone won a penalty for the hosts not long into the second half. Eilidh Adams kept her cool, sending the Celtic keeper the wrong way to score the only goal of the game and sealing the three points for Hibernian.

In the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 (SPWPL2), Spartans skipper Robyn McCafferty has been in fine form, helping her side to an impressive four wins and four clean sheets in the month of April.

Spartans kicked off April with a 3-0 win over Dundee United at Foundation Park, keeping their first clean sheet of the month as McCafferty won 67% of her duels in the match. Spartans then hosted Gartcairn at Ainslie Park where defender McCafferty helped her side at both ends of the pitch, maintaining a clean sheet and scoring a header from a well-worked corner.

McCafferty was a key figure once again in the Spartans defensive unit that kept two further clean sheets in the month against both Kilmarnock and Queen’s Park, as they continue to apply pressure on Kilmarnock at the top of the SPWPL2 table.

The other nominees for the April 2026 SWPL Player of the Month award, supported by Park’s Motor Group, were Carly Johns (Hearts), Katie Wilkinson (Rangers) and Danique Ypema (Hearts) and for the SWPL2 award were Emily Arthur (Boroughmuir Thistle), Sarah Clelland (Spartans) and Skye Stout (Kilmarnock).
