Rosie McQuillan wins March SWPL Goal of the Month, supported by Park’s Motor Group

Rosie McQuillan has been voted by the public as March’s SWPL Goal of the Month winner, supported by Park’s Motor Group, for her volleyed effort in Queen’s Park’s comeback 3-2 win away to Dundee United.

McQuillan received the ball on the edge of the box and took a precise first touch from a pacy lofted pass before launching a superb volley into the bottom corner, leaving the Dundee United keeper with no chance. The young Scottish forward’s goal was Queen’s Park’s first in the match and halved the deficit to Dundee United at the time, but was ultimately the catalyst for the comeback which was completed in stoppage time and helped her team earn what could be a crucial three points away at their fellow SWPL relegation rivals.

Her goal stood out amongst some strong competition in Hannah Jordan (Spartans), Louise Mason (Boroughmuir Thistle), and Saoirse Noonan (Celtic) in the March 2025 edition as voted by the public.
