- SWPL
The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) can confirm amendments to upcoming ScottishPower Women’s Premier League matches involving Glasgow City and Partick Thistle. This is due to improvement works at Petershill Park, which are scheduled to be completed by the 30th August.
Partick Thistle have two home games during that period. These matches are against Hibernian on Sunday, 11th August, and Glasgow City on Sunday, 25th August.
Partick Thistle will now play these matches at Lochburn Park, the home of Maryhill Football Club.
Glasgow City also have two home games during the same period. The scheduled match on Sunday, 18th August, between Glasgow City and Celtic will be reversed and played at the Albert Bartlett Stadium (Excelsior Stadium). This means that the subsequent fixture between Celtic and Glasgow City on Sunday, 16th February will now be played at Petershill Park.
Glasgow City face Heart of Midlothian on Wednesday, 21st August, which will now be played at K-Park.
A full summary of the revised fixture list is noted below:
Date | Fixture | Venue |
Sunday 11th August | Partick Thistle v Hibernian | Lochburn Park |
Sunday 18th August | Celtic v Glasgow City | Albert Bartlett Stadium (Excelsior Stadium) |
Wednesday 21st August | Glasgow City v Hearts | K-Park |
Sunday 25th August | Partick Thistle v Glasgow City | Lochburn Park |
